What sort of a World can we look forward to in 2020?

What are the challenges we are going to face due to Peak Oil, Climate Change, and the major problems that the Global Economic System is going through?

This Blog is a record of my thoughts and actions as I set out on a journey to live a sustainable life on a smallholding in County Wexford, Ireland.

I will record what is happening here on the farm, in my local community, in the South East region, nationally, and globally, and try and share my experiences in the hope that they might help other people get up the learning curve faster.

There won’t be a lot of “Doomer Porn” because that doesn’t help anybody, but there will be some frank opinions on the problems we are facing, the risks we need to be aware of, and the things we can do to reduce the potential negative impacts of events that will be way outside our control, or the control of the people we believe can protect us.

We live in interesting times. Let’s see how we can make the most of the experience.
